solid choice
great location beautiful hall large room good owner
the location impressed me. the entrance hall was beautiful, and i was greeted warmly. my room was a good size, the bathroom too. the owner was good and served breakfast.
the cleanliness in the bedroom was not perfect. the toilet seat was not cleaned behind the lid, round the hinges and under the seat splattered with urine stains.

staffs were very friendly, helpful when i arrived. they offered assistance with my carry-on luggage without any hesitation, showing great care. their attentiveness throughout the stay was excellent.

The breakfast was not a highlight. The potato scone was sadly soggy (a real letdown, i tell you). The staff could have been more attentive. I waited quite a while for a refill of my coffee.

The room was spacious, with ample storage space. I found the enormous bed comfortable, a modern bathroom included two sinks. Breakfast offered cooked food and a good cereal choice. Dinner was excellent, it seemed a good value.

strange bacon steel building work
The breakfast really let me down. the bacon tasted strange. Its color was off-putting. the owner didn't offer me an alternative, i found that quite rude. i also noticed some old steel building work on the drive up, not visible in the photos, that was quite an eyesore. It really spoiled the approach to the hotel.

friendly staff comfortable bed good selection nearby building small portions mold presence
i found the staff friendly on arrival. the room was spacious and the bed comfortable. breakfast had a good selection to choose from. i really appreciated the quiet location.
the building work taking place nearby was noticeable. the portions at dinner were small. i think the bathroom was not as clean as it should be, i saw a bit of mold in the shower.
